⚠️ This is a software platform for designing, testing and automating trading strategies. It is not a stockbroker, exchange, portfolio manager or investment adviser, and nothing here is investment advice. Trading in securities and derivatives carries a substantial risk of loss.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Alpha Invest (the “Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What the Platform is (and isn't)

Alpha Invest is a technology tool that lets you build, backtest, paper-test and optionally automate trading strategies, and to connect your own broker account to place orders. We do not hold your funds or securities, do not execute trades on our own books, and do not provide personalised financial, tax or legal advice. All orders are placed through your broker, under your authority and credentials.

3. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts and to trade in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your login and broker credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and your broker's and the exchanges' rules (including any rules on automated/algorithmic trading).

4. Broker integration & automated trading

When you connect a broker and enable live trading, the Platform may place real orders on your behalf based on your configured strategies. Automated systems can fail or behave unexpectedly due to software bugs, data errors, latency, connectivity loss, broker/exchange API issues, or market conditions. You are solely responsible for monitoring your strategies and positions and for any orders placed. We provide controls (paper testing, a paper-test gate, and kill-switches) but do not guarantee they will prevent losses or erroneous orders.

5. No advice, no guarantees

Strategy templates, backtests, paper results, signals and analytics are illustrative and hypothetical. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results. Backtests may not reflect real fills, slippage, costs or liquidity. We make no representation that any strategy will be profitable or suitable for you.

6. Subscriptions & fees

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, inclusions and billing cycles are shown on the Plans page and may change with notice. Applicable taxes (e.g. GST) may apply. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform — including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, access other users' data, use it for unlawful activity or market manipulation, or share another person's broker credentials without authority.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its software, content and branding are owned by us or our licensors. Strategies you create remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and run them to provide the service.

9. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Platform, your trades, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Platform and disconnect your broker at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable consumer-protection rights.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
